Transforming Lives Through Education
Our flagship educational sponsorship program provides comprehensive support to vulnerable children in Uganda, including school fees, scholastic materials, uniforms, and essential upkeep support. We partner with vetted schools across the country to ensure quality education for every child.
Primary Eligibility Requirements
- Child must be between 3-18 years of age
- Resident of Uganda (citizen or registered refugee)
- Currently enrolled or seeking enrollment in school
- From a vulnerable household (verified through assessment)
- Not receiving full sponsorship from another organization
- Guardian/parent consent provided
Priority Categories (Higher Consideration)
- 1Orphans (single or double)
- 2Children from child-headed households
- 3Children with disabilities
- 4Children affected by HIV/AIDS
- 5Refugees and internally displaced children
- 6Children from extreme poverty households
- 7Girls at risk of dropping out
- 8Children rescued from child labor
Vulnerability Assessment
All applications undergo a comprehensive vulnerability assessment using internationally recognized standards including PEPFAR OVC guidelines, World Bank Proxy Means Testing (PMT), UNICEF child protection standards, and Uganda's National OVC Policy. A minimum vulnerability score is required for acceptance into the program.
