Dignity Circles Uganda is a community-led, non-partisan initiative being developed by Etunganun Impact Initiative to create trusted spaces where people facing exclusion or barriers to participation can build confidence, engage in constructive dialogue and work together on issues affecting their communities.
Why Dignity Circles?
People experiencing stigma, exclusion, economic vulnerability or fear may withdraw from community forums and institutional engagement.
Planned Pilot Model
- Community Advisory Group of approximately 6-8 members
- Train 20 peer facilitators/community allies
- Eight Dignity Circles
- Three Community-Institution Dialogue Forums
- Three participant-designed community micro-actions
- Learning & documentation component
Proposed reach: approximately 120 participants. This is a proposed target, not a completed result.
